Independent Ministries

We believe that every Christian should be actively involved in ministry. That involvement may take many forms, from preaching or teaching, to raising funds, fixing meals or setting up chairs. We strongly encourage every Christian to be active weekly in their own church. However, there are many independent ministries on the island. These ministries fill very vital needs in the community, from prison ministry to substance abuse counseling to pregnancy counseling and more. Because they are not sponsored by any one church, they offer great opportunities to not only serve the Lord in a special way, but also to connect with Christians outside of your own church fellowship.
