Worship is a Cycle
As we give our offering in worship, we align ourselves with the heart of God. Then we see more of God's heart, and we are motivated to use our bodies and time and resources to do the things of God. If worship ends with the initial offering, then it's incomplete. If we don't take time to align ourselves with God's heart and then do the things He's called us to do, then it's incomplete worship.

Worship is an Offering
People love having labels attached to things, such as "this is Christian music," but what's the difference? No style of music is bigger than limitations. It is a powerful experience, but if it's just an experience, then it only lasts for a few hours. But if it's an offering, it lasts your whole life.
Tai Anderson, Third Day
When we think of worship we typically think of offering a song, or a prayer, or a gift. What is worship? Worship is giving God the biggest part of your life. More than a song, more than a gesture, more than a donation of money or a quotation of Scripture, worship is when you take the biggest part of your life and place it on the altar. How can I worship when I have problems of guilt and anxiety, fear and failure. Worship is the act of giving those problems to God. "Give all your worries to him, because he cares about you. (I Peter 5:7). Give God the biggest part of your life. If it's a blessing, do so with gratitude. If it's a burden, do so with hope. As you give God praise and song ...give him your life.
