Are you committed to a cause?
Because this is a Christian publication, your initial reaction may be, “Of course I am, I’m committed to the cause of the gospel!” But there has to be something more.
In Matthew 25:34-40, Jesus gave us a mission to be socially active. Feed the hungry. Welcome the stranger. Clothe the naked. Visit the sick. Go to the prisoner. What are you doing to answer this call?
To help you fill this mission, God gave you a passion for something. What is it? The homeless? The unwed mother? The fatherless child? The widow? The cancer victim? The alcoholic? The poor? The prisoner? Find your passion and fulfill your mission. Get involved.
The Island Christian Guide believes in this calling. To support it, we are including a non-profit data base on our website. Use it to find a place to serve. Or, if you are already involved, send us your organization’s information so we can post it.
