An Unusual Event

God used Laulima Ministries to perform a miracle this month!. He led them to bring together over 170 churches to conduct a healing conference. That in itself was a miracle! But he didn't stop there.

The event took place February 14-16 at Hope Chapel Kapolei in Kalaealoa. The "sanctuary" was a tent in the parking lot. The tent seated 600-700 people, but they needed a bigger tent! On Friday night, the overflow was greater than those under the tent. At least 1,600 people braved pau hana traffic and drove all the way out to Barber's Point to meet God. That's a miracle too!

During the conference, God worked more miracles as he brought spiriual and physical healing to many people. Joy flowed freely and many experienced heaven and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

We pray that many more such events occur - churches reaching across denominational lines to do the Father's will and bring healing and unity to the Church.

Drama & Worship

We were blessed to be invited to see the Covenant Players at The River Church's Youth Night. This particular Covenant Players troup is based in California and travels in Hawaii, Japan and Guam.

During the evening's event, the Covenant Players performed short plays that illustrated biblical principles, then they led the audience in a discussion to clarify those truths. It was somewhat like Jesus telling parables and then explaining them.

But the evening wasn't a sedentary event. Everyone got involved in fun games that, of course, illustrated spiritual principles. It was a wonderful blending of silliness and spirituality that I'm sure God enjoyed as much as we did!
